Personal data processed on this website are the responsibility of the operator of vegasplay.cz, who acts as their controller. Questions about the processing, and requests by which you exercise your rights, should be sent to contact@vegasplay.cz.
What Data We Process
We keep the processing to what vegasplay.cz needs in order to run, stay secure and be measured, or to deal with a question you e-mail to us.
- Access data: your IP address, the URLs you open, the time of access, your browser, operating system and type of device. We use them to operate, protect and measure the website.
- Cookies: described in detail in the part on cookies and consent lower on this page.
- E-mail correspondence: if you write to contact@vegasplay.cz, we work with your address, the wording of your message and a signature, if there is one.
Gambling data, identity checks and payments are outside what the website processes, and data of Fortuna Vegas players play no part in it at all.
Purpose, Legal Basis and Retention Period
- Browsing. Technical data keep the website running and safe. The ground for this is the controller's legitimate interest, that is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We hold the data no longer than 12 months, or for as long as technical options permit.
- Analytical and marketing cookies. These are saved only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and stay until you take the consent back, or as your browser settings decide.
- Answering an e-mail. The content of your message lets us reply within the performance of a contract or out of legitimate interest, see Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We hold it while the matter is open, 6 months at the longest.
The framework is made up of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing, and § 89 of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications.
Who Else May Access the Data
Two kinds of service providers may handle the data:
- hosting and CDN providers, who keep the website up, reachable and protected;
- web analytics providers, who turn traffic data into statistics used to optimise the website.
We give their names only where they can be publicly identified right on the website. Beyond operation and analytics, nobody is given access to the data, and unverified entities or third parties lacking a legal reason never receive them.
Transfers outside the EU and the EEA happen only if our analytics relies on a tool whose provider is based outside the EU and the EEA. Such a transfer then rests on standard contractual clauses under Art. 46 GDPR, whose purpose is an adequate level of protection. If no service outside the EU/EEA is used, the data stay out of third countries.
Your Rights
The GDPR, together with Act No. 110/2019 Coll., entitles you:
- to find out which of your data we process and to see them (Art. 15 GDPR);
- to have data that are not accurate put right (Art. 16 GDPR);
- to ask for erasure, known as the right to be forgotten, where Art. 17 GDPR allows it;
- to ask for processing to be limited (Art. 18 GDPR);
- to receive, for handing over elsewhere, data processed by automated means that rest on consent or a contract (Art. 20 GDPR);
- to raise an objection where processing rests on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR);
- to take back your consent, which leaves processing done before that moment lawful.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Write your request to contact@vegasplay.cz. The controller will deal with it without undue delay and will answer within 30 days of receiving it at the latest. Where a request is complicated or requests pile up, the time limit may grow by two more months, and you will be told about the extension.
Complaint to the Supervisory Authority
Do you think the processing of your data breaks the law? Then you may complain to the supervisory body, the Office for Personal Data Protection. The office is seated at Pplk. Sochora 27 in Praha 7, postcode 170 00, and its website is www.uoou.cz.
Security
On the way between your device and the server, data are shielded by the HTTPS/TLS protocol. The controller applies technical and organisational measures in line with the present state of the art, reviews the protection settings at regular intervals and acts so as to lower the risk of unauthorised access or misuse.
Cookies and Consent
A cookie is a short text file that a website leaves on the device of the person browsing it. Cookies help the website work, let it count visits and, in some cases, tailor content and advertising.
When you decide about consent, the website writes your choice into the browser's local storage, into an entry called ck-consent. That entry is not a cookie; how long it stays in the browser is up to the browser's settings.
- Essential cookies look after the basic functions; without them, the website might not behave as it should. § 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. allows them to be used without consent.
- Analytical cookies gather anonymised statistics. Google Analytics works here in Consent Mode, and analytics storage stays switched off until you agree.
- Marketing cookies exist for personalised advertising and for following users from site to site. These, too, are not saved without your consent.
Your browser lets you restrict or delete cookies. Chrome keeps them in Settings, in the Privacy and security part, under the item Cookies and other site data. Edge holds them in Settings, in the Cookies and site permissions part, under the item Cookies and site data. Firefox stores them in Options, in the Privacy & Security part, under the item Cookies and Site Data. Safari offers them in Preferences, on the Privacy tab, under the item Manage Website Data. Your browser's help tells you more about blocking cookies.
Changes to This Policy
A change in the law, or a change in how we handle data, may lead us to adjust this policy. The controller posts notice of significant changes on this website, so it is worth going through the current wording now and then.
